Congratulations on nearing the end of your 8th-grade student’s journey through middle school here at Madison Meadows! We have some pretty exciting things in store for our 8th graders for their final year. Please make sure you put these dates and times into your calendar and continue to check your email for updates.

Monday March 2nd All Payments Due
$50 to PTM for Promotion Fee ***pay HERE
$55 in Power School for Sun Splash Field Trip in Power School HERE
March 25th, Wednesday: Panoramic Picture Day ***DRESS YOUR BEST!!!***
May 13th, Wednesday: Mandatory Promotion Practice 8:30 AM Cafeteria
May 14th, Thursday: Mandatory Promotion Practice 2:15 PM Cafeteria
May 15th, Friday: PROMOTION DAY
Students arrive at 8:00 AM at Madison Center of the Arts
***Promotion Ceremony Begins at 9:00 AM
May 15th 7-8:30 PM 8th Grade Dance Meadows Cafeteria
Drop-off and pick-up will be at the back of the school off 3rd Avenue
ONLY Meadows students are allowed at the dance
Once a student leaves, they may not re-enter the dance
Parent volunteers for set-up and clean-up are still needed! Sign-up here.
Tuesday, May 19 9:00 AM Leave from Meadows to Sunsplash
8:30 am – Students report to 1st-period classes as normal
9:00 am – Buses Depart Meadows School for Hurricane Harbor
4:30 pm – Buses Arrive at Meadows School (parents must pick up from school). Please note that return time may vary based on traffic. Students will be reminded to text parents when they are leaving the waterpark.
**Students will have access to all of the amenities at the waterpark.
** Pepperoni pizza and fountain drink provided
** Students may bring money to pay for whatever they may want extra at park
**Students are also expected to obey all park staff and adhere to park rules.
**We expect our students to follow school expectations at all times.
**Students should bring a towel, bathing suit, tennis shoes and sun protection (hat, sunscreen) and wear the class t-shirt (labeling is suggested).
